Applications are invited from eligible candidates not more than 40 years of age for the following posts on contract basis under Project Management Unit (PMU) component of Rajiv Gandhi Panchayat Sashaktikaran Abhiyan (RGPSA), Ministry of Panchayatiraj (MoPR), Govt. of India being implemented by Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Govt. of Assam. The posts are purely temporary and selected candidates will be initially engaged for a period of 01 (one) year only. The contractual engagement will neither be regularized under the Department nor will be attached under any programme of Govt. of Assam.

Age limit:

Pay scale:

• For post no 1: Fix pay of Rs. 12000/- pm
• For post no 2: Fix pay of Rs. 10000/- pm
• For post no 3: Fix pay of Rs. 6000/- pm

Educational qualification:

• For post no 1 and 3: Candidate should have done Graduation in any field from any recognized university
• For post no 2: Applicant should have done Diploma in Civil engineering

Post Graduate TET Assam 2013 for Higher Secondary teacher recruitment

The first announcement of TET exam for recruitment of Higher Secondary Teachers in Assam has created a lots of doubts among people. Is it possible to conduct TET for Higher secondary teacher? Because NCTE has not not prescribed TET exam for Higher secondary teachers. So far in other states of India and CBSE  has organized specific State level TET and CTET for elementary and secondary level teachers only. 

So if the plan of organizing Senior/higher secondary TET gets executed Assam will be the first state to conduct a TET of higher secondary teacher recruitment.

But if you go by news than it may really happen and if you prepare properly you can find yourself sitting for Higher Secondary TET exam and well, qualify it! According to Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma, Minister of Health and Education cabinet Minister, Assam govt, TET for Higher Secondary will be conducted in the month of November 2013. The date of Higher secondary TET is still not declared.

The state govt has uplifted the status of 500 secondary schools to Higher secondary level. And all these schools will be in need of trained Teachers. So this decision seems to be a perfect one to cater the dire need of Education dept.  in the Assam. Moreover in recent result of Secondary level TET showed a  very very poor performance of candidates. As per reports most posts will lie vacant because of lack of eligible candidates to fill 6000 Teacher vacancies.
